Guardianships
We provide a full student Guardianship service to complement the package of student care that Concorde International offers. This is a Guardianship service for students taking full time education in UK private boarding schools. Guardianship is necessary for those attending either Preparatory Schools for ages 7-13 or at Senior Schools for ages 11-18 studying for GCSE's and 'AS' and 'A' Level exams prior to university entry.
Using our existing network of Home Tuition teachers and Regional Supervisors across the UK we have guardian families close to the chosen school to offer full care and responsibility. Many of the teachers have been working with us for years and we can guarantee the high standards of care and accommodation that they can offer.
Whether we find the school for the student or you enrol the student yourselves, we can offer a full care package from the moment they get off the plane in the UK. We will select a guardian family near to the chosen school who will meet the student at the airport and take them to their home. If the student needs a school interview this can be arranged while he or she is staying with the family. This could also be combined with a Home Language Tuition programme to bring their English language skills up to the standard required by the school.
If the student’s language skills are too low to gain immediate entry into the school we can offer a full package to bring them up to the required level. This could start with a period of say one month of Home Language Tuition followed by a General English language group course at Concorde International School in Canterbury. By following this programme they will have the cultural immersion that they need first with the guardian family and then they can meet other students from different nationalities in the school. All this will prepare them for entry to their chosen school.
While the student is in the school they can then return to the family at half and full term holidays. This can be for meals and accommodation only or Home Tuition lessons.
We can arrange for them to take all the necessary exams and tests such as IELTS, Cambridge FCE and Trinity College Examinations in Spoken English.
