General English Courses: 2-to-1
These courses are designed for two students of the same language level having the lessons together in the teacher’s home.
This provides companionship for the student and can help learning. Students receive the same benefits as they would if they were being taught one-to-one:
- Excellent teachers and accommodation, in England and all around the world
- Regional Supervisors in each region who select only the best teachers and standards of accommodation
- The majority of our students, up to now, have told us in their course evaluations that they have been "Extremely Satisfied"
We ensure students have everything they need to make their course a success, including:
- Regional Supervisors who will contact you within 48 hours of your arrival at the house to check that everything is as it should be. If you are not at all happy, for any reason, we will offer you another family immediately.
- By carefully selecting the most suitable family for you from the information that you provide, we can almost certainly avoid the need to change tutor
- Supplying course books and materials, drawing upon the experience and knowledge of academic staff at our study centre and business school here in Canterbury
- Providing a thorough Level Test when you start the course at the teacher’s home, followed by a Needs Analysis to establish exactly what you want from the course. At the end you receive a Course Report, End of Course Progress Report and Certificate of Attendance
It is compulsory for students ages 16 or under to pay the supplement for child care and local activities and excursions..
English with golf or English with horse riding
For golf this programme does NOT include the hire of golf clubs, shoes, balls, golf buggies, trolley etc.
It does include the cost of the green fees and/or lessons at a local golf course with a golf professional and transfers to and from the golf course.
For horse riding, this includes the use and hire of all equipment with accompanied rides or lessons.

English with cream teas, baking and cooking
The cream teas and baking and cooking programme includes two visits to a traditional English teahouse for London. English cream teas and one afternoon of baking or cooking with the teacher.
