Studying English in New Zealand

Our Japanese student, Mihasu, (aged 14) recently completed a 2 week home tuition course in Auckland, New Zealand.

11th September 2019 — The local Regional Supervisor, Janis Hannah, recommended the experienced teacher Karen Courtis for her.

Karen has been a teacher for over 25 years.

Mihasu stayed with Karen and her husband Stephen in their large house which is 50 minutes drive outside Auckland.

Mihasu had lessons in the mornings (Monday to Friday) and local activities and excursions on 3 afternoons and 1 full day at the weekend.

Mihasu was supported by the local Regional Supervisor, Janis Hannah, and also our Japanese member of staff, Makoto Tsurugai, who is based in the United Kingdom.

Mihasu improved her English and enjoyed her stay. She was extremely satisfied.
